Bright Futures is a new campaign that is being sponsored by the Fairfax County Park Foundation. Children in grades 1 through 6 from low income families who qualify for the free lunch program in Fairfax County schools are eligible to participate in Bright Futures, a six week summer camp program provided by the Fairfax County Park Authority. The Park Authority has been providing summer camp programs for the children of Fairfax County for over 50 years and had well over 32,000 registrants in its camp programs in 2004. Camps will be held at Fairfax County public schools and located throughout the County.
